Accredited Financial Counselor
RequirementsRequirements:
In-depth knowledge in field of personal finance and financial counseling.
Obtain national certification as an Accredited Financial Counselor within first 6 months of employment and maintain certification throughout employment.
Must maintain highest ethical standards.
Highly desired Veteran, military spouse or experience working with military organizations
Education:
Bachelor's degree, OR
Combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree or combination of education and experience must equip the individual to serve as a personal financial management counselor and maintain national certification as an Accredited Financial Counselor

General Office Demands:
Must be able to operate general office equipment including but not limited to: computer, phones and related media and information devices on most or all workdays

Must be able to travel as needed and adhere to AFSC travel policies and procedures.
Physical requirements can typically be characterized as sedentary: work involves exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
