SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Supply Management Personnel work by applying a practical knowledge of a wide range of well-established supply and logistics management principles, concepts, and regulations pertaining to the supply and logistical processes of an organization. Examples of specialized experience include the following:
(1) Control, manage, and track hazardous material(s) in efforts to reduce generation of hazardous waste in compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations; (2) provide guidance to supply and material management personnel involving the receipt, issue, storage, delivery, accounting, re-utilization and disposal of hazardous material(s); (3) review and analyze reports for accuracy, adequacy, and adherence to procedures and implement corrective action as necessary; (4) record inventory returns, properly stow, label, and barcode incoming hazardous material(s). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
