SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (HAZMAT)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
performing technical supply support work necessary to ensure the effective operation of ongoing Hazmat supply activities. Specific duties include:
1. Applying a thorough working knowledge of governing supply and hazardous material management regulations, policies, methods and procedures to perform a wide assortment of complex supply transactions, inventory management, and warehouse functions; 2. Perform inventory management and requisition in a variety of automated supply systems; 3. Maintain inventory records and perform physical inventories to ensure accuracy of records; 4. Provide customers with information on the proper handling of hazardous material, maintain up-to-date and accurate records in regards to HAZMAT related materials and processing customer requests for hazardous materials. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
